update on the Shawn Bensley bike: After reviewing the diagnostic info that I recorded on his bike, I mistakely overlooked an important detail. His engines compression was 110 and 120psi which is ok for a bike with an auto decompressioner. After further review I realized his bike does not have an auto decompression system on it. His bike is supposed to have 139 to 213psi. I am 99% sure that the low compression is the reason for the bike dieing at idle, low power and being really sluggish on start up. The fact that the bike was missing it's air filter and has been drawing in dirty air, is more than likely the reason for the low compression. I would say the bike probably has a bad set of rings from the dirt ingestion or possibly other abuses from it's past owners.
